You'd like to have a verdict for ALPA on the "principle" of not representing their own members in the hopes of gaining new members...and destroying computer hard drives and servers that proved it?

Terrific.

Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time who they dislike more? The DALPA insiders (slowplay, pineapple, etc.) or the DPA crowd(carl, purple, and from the alpa boards, JF, SC, GM, and of course TC)? IMHO, these factions are doing more to hurt the Delta Pilots then help.

That's good. Thanks.

NERD, has a point. I am going to take his advice.

Your cohorts during your tenure were far better promoters of the DPA than TC ever was.

Another expert has testified that the first expert didn't do his math right. We'll see where it comes out but when you read the whole transcript you can see at the beginning that the judge had several jovial exchanges with both sides. I read this as the judge being somewhat sarcastic that $160 was high yet they were saying low end and then the judge is clearly joking when he says call my press agent, there's no way of saying that any other way. That's courtroom humor and these numbers are higher than he deals with and he made light of it.

Goog points. I only wanted to discuss that the DPA is straying from building a pro-Delta pilot group to just being a destroy ALPA group at any cost. I'm calling my rep today to give him input on flight time duty time. That's my pro Delta pilots support today.

Recruiting in the pilot lounge? If they're handing out material that's a big NO NO. If you see that, I believe it needs to be reported to the company. From what I've been told, neither union is allowed to advocate for themselves on company property.

I believe it's ok if they're just talking to you.

I guess I don't understand the "time value of money." But I sure do understand the "time value" of QOL.

It's OK though--"We'll get 'em next time."

The only time this would be true even this last summer with green slips flowing would be POTENTIALLY weekends and for the most part only those if you waited to put in a drop. The worst case would probably be the guy stuck on weekend reserve on ATL MD-88- weekdays even in the workhorse category were usually OK for dropping. But if your really dropped everything except your Saturday and Sunday I would hardly call that working your butt off.

I'm not saying Purple did or did not work a lot this summer, but if I'm senior to him, it's not by much, and I was able to drop pretty much anything I wanted, including the entire month of August. Also the source of the rant was that the new contract is what made it so tough for him to drop. That is, if fact, completely untrue. The new contract made pretty much zero changes to the reserves required/available/personal drop rules.
Guys, you can't go interjecting facts into the conversation. It's not allowed.
