Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time who they dislike more? The DALPA insiders (slowplay, pineapple, etc.) or the DPA crowd(carl, purple, and from the alpa boards, JF, SC, GM, and of course TC)? IMHO, these factions are doing more to hurt the Delta Pilots then help.

Don't know how you could arrive at that conclusion other than a personal opinion. The transcripts state expert testimony of $160 million being the low side and $1.7 billion on the high side. The judge appeared surprised that $160 million was the low side of the estimate.

I believe it's ok if they're just talking to you.

After a rough few weeks, I just realized I'm worse off now than I was before C12.
I may get a little more money. But the minor pay increase is just not worth being required to work more. And before johnso29 jumps in--I drop as much as I can. Which is none in the summertime.
I guess I don't understand the "time value of money." But I sure do understand the "time value" of QOL.
It's OK though--"We'll get 'em next time."

Is it the PWA or is it company staffing levels? Seeing the amount of greenslips that went out this summer in certain categories and the company announcing hiring means we're short guys. Can you please elaborate on your above post. Line holder/reserve, fleet and monthly credit? Thanks.
I was going to throw out the red flag on this one as well. I am in the bottom 300-400 and was still able to drop pretty much anything I wanted this summer. I was also monitoring other categories reserves available to decide where I would like to be displaced to next. The only time this would be true even this last summer with green slips flowing would be POTENTIALLY weekends and for the most part only those if you waited to put in a drop. The worst case would probably be the guy stuck on weekend reserve on ATL MD-88- weekdays even in the workhorse category were usually OK for dropping. But if your really dropped everything except your Saturday and Sunday I would hardly call that working your butt off.
I'm not saying Purple did or did not work a lot this summer, but if I'm senior to him, it's not by much, and I was able to drop pretty much anything I wanted, including the entire month of August. Also the source of the rant was that the new contract is what made it so tough for him to drop. That is, if fact, completely untrue. The new contract made pretty much zero changes to the reserves required/available/personal drop rules.
