Then we will once again be left with a laughable contract. I guess then at least we would deserve our reputation, right! I don’t expect 90$ an hour but 48$ isn’t even close. If they had improved the actual healthcare..maybe..but you can’t afford 500$ Coming off your check a month on 48$/hr. Better scheduling? Nope. Better hotels? Nope. Better anything? Nope. JO needs to do better. He knows it or he wouldn’t be sitting down with CG after the WO info came out when they walked away from the table just months ago. Mesa is in major trouble. It’s pretty clear we can’t attract or keep people already and now it will be worse.
Exactly, the time is ticking on this place. And JO knows it, at this rate the lifespan of this place is measured in single digit months, not years. No vote this abomination of a TA and JO will have a new one with higher pay in less then a month, I guarantee it.

Remember when Republic pilots literally took their airline to bankruptcy.

In case you missed it PSA has now become the 3rd and last AA WO Regional to implement the new pay. On another thread a Regional Pilot updated his app at Envoy and quickly got a "you're hired" message. He called about an interview and they said no interview if you already fly for a 121 airline. Logbook review will be done when he shows up for training in a few weeks. I'll paste the link for PSA's announcement below. Mesa doesn't have time to get a vote on the TA, if AA's Regionals are going to hire without an interview then I wouldn't be standing near the exit door at Mesa.

Mesa has survived some stuff over the decades..but I honestly think this may be the end of the line. This development...Skywest and others with bonus for type and longevity match along with major improvements in qol and most likely a raise on the way. I suppose if the recession comes knocking hard and we get furloughed next year we can live on the double pay we collected in the meantime. Man, I’m having a tough time finding reasons to stay. It was always the people but they’ll be gone too!

I shall take my leave gents! I bid you adieu!

Not really, but seriously..guess it’s time.

Why make a lateral move when majors are hiring just as much? Apply and see what happens.

Thats not really much of a requirement anymore. I moved on with zero TPIC, and lots of people in my class had less than 1000 total jet time. 1000 PIC is a thing of the past, no matter what people are saying.

Two young men with less than 100hrs in the right seat of 145s At Envoy got CJOs at F9 when I was there in Denver at the interview. You don’t need 1000hrs of SIC or any TPIC rn to go to an ULCC right now.

I’m done with this union. Sending out an email reminding everyone that you have a $750 uniform and luggage allowance? Yeah you get to use up to $750 at crew outfitters and mesa will take it out of your check each month. If I get one more propaganda email… seriously, whose side are you on? That kind of stuff shows what’s really going on here.

Yep. That little addition in the fast read email has no business being there. Secondly, they make it sound like the $750 allotment doesn’t have to be paid back. Proper communication and words matter.
