When you're hired, you can ask for the Embraer but you may wait longer for a class.
Thanks - what are the current and potential/rumored future E175 bases?

Houston is the only confirmed one. Some people think Chicago (ORD) might become one.

Skywest and Envoy already are doing something similar through what is called a pipeline program. They are taking it a step beyond Mesa and offering flight and insurance benefits to those who successfully interview, keeping them on the hook until they hit ATP mins because "oh but you get this great deal while you wait to come here..."

If this doesn't fuel SJS then I don't know what does

SkyWest isn't offering benefits. Get your facts straight jack.

I was in a OO jump last week and that's exactly what the FO told me they were doing...benefits.

I have a few former students in the program. No benefits.

One of the interview guys said they're using it as an 'extended HR interview', if they're going to take a chance on a CFI, they want to ensure they're worth a crap. I guess they tried getting them benefits on SKW flights and that was shot down.

Are classes expected through the rest of the year?

At the way things are going, by the time the dust settles, this place is going to have 150 aircraft and 1500 pilots.

We have the CRJ and EJET on cert now. No 50 seaters to shed. JO's emails hint to the sky being the limit for new flying. I'm sure these first 30 175s are only the tip of the iceberg for 175 flying

Someone once asked a well known regional airline CEO what they thought would happen to Mesa back in 2010. (When all the dashs 200s and 145s were being parked) It was a general consensus in the room Mesa was done.

The CEO said "Mesa would be back and bigger than ever, and JO would be out for blood."
