Anyone one know if our contract on the AA side can be canceled at anytime? Just curious, just heard from a buddy at DFW that he alone had 4 flights canceled today due to MX on two different aircraft. I mean its getting a little ridiculous. Also heard a rumor that we were gonna bring in some Piedmont guys to handle the ramp there.

Mesa owns the 900's. A contract is always fallible. But owning makes it a little more difficult for the mainline partner to say we're done. United owns the 175's. So we better get the FA issue resolved.

I've been off for a week. Has it really been that bad?

I don't know about the FA's on the E Jet side, but on the CRJ DFW side a resounding yes. Between no FA's, maintenance and rampers it has been an absolute circus.

I noticed a job posting for Director of Inflight Training for Mesa today - https://www1.apply2jobs.com/MesaAir/...&CurrentPage=1

Maybe a sign of internal strife on the FA side?

We have had a few MX cancellations the last few days that AA shifted back to Envoy. Seriously...? The big whigs in PHX might want to pull their heads out of their A$$es if the expect DFW to be "our biggest base"...a hanger and a surplus of parts would probably help...GRRRR!!!

The last two days were ok in Phx compared to the previous 5 or so days at least. I check Live Airline Flight Cancellations Info & Statistics ? FlightAware quite a bit. The last week has been unbelievably bad, though. I can't believe AA puts up with it. they need to fix CRJ mx, FA staffing, and keep the pressure on pilot hiring, or the wheels will fall off Mesa faster than they are falling off RAH.
