The A-Listers did a terrible disservice to everyone else here then and now, but it's done. Any reaction now wouldn't accomplish anything and be solely punitive. That being said, I'd be curious to offhandedly bring up Freedom in the cockpit with one of them and see what they say.

That "list" and argument was started by good ole Flaps...Its sad that his only recourse is to deny someone HIS Jumpseat.
I have an idea...redirect all of your disgust for the company and the union to actually doing something. Either volunteer for ALPA and make a change or quit Mesa and go somewhere else. Your constant threats about denying Jumpseat and voting out ALPA are getting tired.
And ScottyDo...just don't.
I'm perfectly happy flying the line here, and airing my occasional ideas/thoughts/frustrations on the internet here--Mesa has treated me well.
There's a good possibility I'll run for a union position next month--careful whatcha wish for!!!

FYI the guy you are trying to rag on in this post volunteered for a small job with the union after the TA was voted down to try to help turn things around in there. You are really beginning to show your intelligence (or lack thereof) on here. You direct negativity to the wrong people. Also, you should request a refund for your "batchelors" degrees. I find it amusing you still overpower autocorrect with your misspellings, more emboldened above. You should probably take a month off of the forums. Maybe just lurk and read. You add nothing of substance, stir the pot, and are generally wrong about most things you post about. Your inexperience in this industry and life shows through your posts.

edit: and for the record I wasn't "ragging" on the guy just pointing out that some of us have done our part

Neither is true. New Ejets going to IAH to support the 8 new cities in Mexico that United is opening up. Ejets will continue to "flow" through IAD with 2 staying the night. For now no Ejets in IAD MX hangar to small "confirmed" and they want to keep operations seperate. 700's in no danger of being moved for forsee able future. *Sources IAD station manager, head of MX in IAH, and Mechanic in IAD. These people would be in the loop if changes were taking place in the next 6 months.

Think about how much business travel in the Houston area comes from the big offshore oil and fracking players, not to mention the ancillary financial, engineering, accounting, and specialty equipment services wholly reliant upon offshore oil and West Texas fracking ops.
Schedules are set and tickets are booked weeks/months in advance, and it takes time for behemoth companies like Exxon to start slashing costs, jobs and corporate travel budgets--but it's starting, and reduced demand will logically result in 737/Airbus routes/slots being downgauged to EJets.
I was hopeful for IAD/elsewhere--I would even go to EWR!!! But with these Mexico routes announced, RONs in IAD, 3-5 planes on service checks in OKC every night, and the impending downgauging of mainline routes, I now see IAH fully accomodating the whole Mesa EJet fleet.
