Most of the gains seem to be concentrated in the RSV section.

5 Years. I don't think so. It looks horrible. Voting NO!

I appreciate the work by the negotiating committee, but besides the reserve section, the improvements are a slap in the face to the pilot group as a whole. Also, 5 years in this environment.... smh

From the summary, I feel like I wouldn't even notice the difference if this contract were voted in.

5 years, no mention of medical improvements, marginal pay raises still far below industry standard. Better work rules? Oh cool. Better than what we have, but still well below what the market rates are even without looking at actual numbers. Guessing it won't pass. But we will see.
I still find it curious that the reason the union says we can't get more is because of razor thin margins that all regionals are facing. Those same regionals still manage to pay their pilots more than JO and they are able to still grow and gain contracts. What gives?
Oh and the "SKW stock price is cratering," which is the union's example of how other regionals are hurting that they've used on two conference calls, is at a 5 year high.

They were able to lock in a 5% raise at the end if the company extends the contract by a year. I'm actually impressed they were able to get that in there. The pay rates are ho hum. I need to see the new scheduling language to really make up my mind.

Agreed. Read the details once it comes out guys, make educated decisions. Sitting cross armed in the Dulles crewroom because, "Hey that's what the 50 something lifer is voting/doing," makes you look like an uneducated twat.

What happened to the last few posts that included a link to the Mesa ALPA site with lines? I didn't get a chance to bookmark that. As for the TA summary, wow. I'll reserve final judgment until the full language is released, but right now I'm unimpressed and frustrated at how little progress was made.
So, a 1% increase in pay? The last bullet point seems to suggest it's different for FO's; a 1% increase from $22.18 is $22.40, so I'd hope so. Still, that's pretty pathetic. SkyWest is what, $30/hour first year and soon to go up to $36? We're not asking for industry leading, but that lags so far behind it's absurd.
.........K.
o From $1.47?
o Whatever
o WE SHOULDN'T NEED TO NEGOTIATE FOR THAT
Deadheads are still paid at 50%???
I thought that's what it was.
As for scheduling, there's a bunch of little gains in insignificant areas and a few decent gains for a small amount of the overall pilot group. That was supposed to be BIG section, the one that dramatically improved our QOL. There's not even a min day. And did we really neglect to add any language about hotel quality? What about those stupid arbitrary reserve buffers? I think we're going to need to send this back.
