That was his callsign in his imaginary New Jersey F16 unit. He was the only pilot.

Love the puking smiley!

And don't even get me started on lack of ability to write in his own native language. I mean come on, "Altatude???"

This guy is seriously deranged and has no business ever operating an airplane again imo. Here's the thing that I find astonishing. It's a pretty big deal to get yourself in a 2 page spread in your trade's major union publication. Wouldn't you think that he would want to show it to close family and friends? He was joking on facebook asking his friends if they wanted autographed copies. It's almost like he believed it all himself. Didn't he have close family/friends that knew none of the things in the article were true? Certainly someone knew he was spinning these tales. Why didn't they stop him? Someone he want to high school, college, or flight school must have seen this coming. I'm wondering why they didn't stop him by contacting his parents, Eagle, the FAA, or the FDNY.

I feel sorry for the guy because he is sick. I hope he gets the help he needs, but he should never be allowed near airplanes, or fire hoses, ever again.

I've known a handful of folks with the same problem this guy has, although not to this extent. Every time they meet someone new, they get some sort of charge out of thinking they are impressing them. Each time they tell a story or talk about themselves, they embellish the details a little more until it's a nearly complete fabrication. In his mind, he's not lying, he's just exaggerating a little because that's the only way to communicate how important he believes himself to be.

But he's so [edit] wrapped up in himself, he's oblivious to the fact the person listening to this BS doesn't believe it. He probably doesn't have any friends who are close enough to know the truth and be disappointed in him or care enough to check his facts. He has another set of lies he tells to his family to make momma proud. As a pilot, it was easy for him to keep his lies separate. He's probably one of those overly nice guys, too - because that's the only way you can get away with this crap for so long.

"Yeah, Tim's full of crap, but he's a heck of a nice guy."

But someone so full of himself must have shown that magazine to mommy and daddy. I assume he lives with them since he lives in the NYC area on regional fo pay. Who else would have paid for his rj type rating?

The issue with this whole story is not his deranged view of himself or his perceived self importance. The "issue" is why ALPA National bought this, why a committee of staff members/volunteers didn't vet him and finally why it wasn't reviewed and verified by Senior staff before ALPA paraded him around as a "role model" for the ALPA Code of Ethics...as if the national organization actually had some.

Now that Herndon has made Tim the national poster child for "who ALPA is", the task is damage repair as anyone who has checked out his fabrications and lies knows, he is a phony. Wonder how he ever got hired at Eagle ??

Just my two cents...devalued to $ .008764 on yesterday's market close.

I have met some people out there that would argue that some of the brass at ALPA are indeed "POSERS".

The point is whatever you want it to be. ALPA is of no interest to me. The psyche of the Milkman is fascinating.

I claim absolutely no credit for this, but nearly soaked my laptop with coffee when I saw it:

It's the CRJ PIC type that's in question. He hasn't been here long enough to get that type. Unless he has been apart of our management.
