Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide to pick between the two?

Thanks.

Neither. Go Airline.

Wow, now there is a kool aid drinker and arse kisser 🙄. Do you really think they are going to have any loyalty for you?

No. As I said in a later post, my loyalty is to the brand, my crew, and my union brothers and sisters. We will need to proceed as every carrier has and pull tooth and nail for every inch of progress. May is coming, and if you knew what that meant, you would appreciate my sentiment.

Additionally, why the hell would you work for a company that you had no pride for? I don’t worship the leadership. I see the prospects for the betterment of us working dogs. I worship the prospects of profit sharing-whatever it takes.

Pride is good, you should have pride and be proud of who you work for. Loyalty is completely different. Seems as though you don't know what loyalty means lol.

Pride, really? Pride is being a Marine, Navy, Army, Air Force, Coastie, etc. Pride working for NJ? Oh boy. 99% of folks would say pride is the paycheck, which you guys are fighting for and claim ain’t that great.

Did my time in the AF. I have the honor of being in a family of five generations of military service that I know of. Probably more before. Pride is something given in many venues when deserved. I went from $27k/year to more than $360k/year at NJA. Who wouldn’t be proud of that? Does that mean I’m satisfied with the current situation? Hell no. I’ll stand with my brothers and sisters till the end.

If you're referring to the excess profit clause in the last IBI paying us for certain financial targets, you're dreaming. We'll NEVER see a nickel from that little nugget.

If you're talking about very large, hard salary and QOL improvements "sharing" the company's profits moving forward, that's a different story.

Bottom line, take out bonuses and first year FO pay is under $75k. That will be your pay after indoc but until you are to IOE which is NOT a fast time frame. After that, if you sit on a broken jet, good luck getting FDP. Flex starting salary is $100k (with out bonuses), dont fly, you make $100k. VERY good insurance for a family is $199/mo (not sure about NJ), upgrade to CA is 8 months (vs. YEARS for NJ). I havent been at FLEX long, but long enough to know I am treated well!

Just for clarification if you are saying at NJ starting pay minus bonuses is under $75k that isn’t true. Starting pay is at training pay which is $86k. After IOE you can switch to a 7/7 schedule that pays less. Training pay is CC72 which is a schedule more close to a schedule you will work at flexjet. As far as insurance there is no cost starting at day 1.

As for as how you have been treated at flexjet. Were you at flexjet at the beginning of Covid when they cut all bases down to 9? Were you there when they cut everyone’s schedule and gave them IOU’s for pay? None of those things happened at Netjets. Things are not great at Netjets right now but we do still have a union and are fighting for better quality of life and pay.
