Seriously, they need to get ahead of this, or they're going to find themselves backed into a corner.

And the answer is: FIVE

There was supposed to be at least 10. I guess more than a handful thought better of it.

Might serve as a wakeup call to our management.

Naaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh....

I honestly think they are backed into a corner, they just don't know it yet. The schedules allow for better utilization of people I get that, but like 400 people have dropped off that list even with hiring since NJA started hiring again in 2015. Twice now they have done mass interviews, built a pool, then interviewed them AGAIN via Skype, strung them along for months, then here we are a year later. They are starting a class today, who knows how many people turned down a class before they were able to get enough people to come in. I think the next couple of years are going to be really hard for NJA to find good candidates.

Oh and there is the answer. Nah management will continue to think that they are still the top company and FLYLOW22 will still call it expansion.

Thanks a bunch for everyone for their replies, after reading the few recent posts, even though where I am now is a runaway trainwreck, sounds like things are not a whole lot better at NetJets. Maybe someone should shoot a quick e-mail to uncle warren and fill him in how screwed up his company really is! Everyone take care, fly safe!

He doesn't care. He's actually the one who appointed the CEO's to attempt to break the union who actually almost broke the company. He got a good contract though, so #winning I guess...

I would say Buffet does care but in the opposite way. Management saved million of dollars by not hiring the way they should have in 2017, and on paper the metal kept moving and the pilots kept flying.

Goal was somewhere between 8-12 new hires today and only 5 showed up.

So are things really that bad? Right now we are flying a 8/6 rotation, you have a 7/7 schedule. That one extra day makes a big difference. I don't really care about up grading. What did you think? stay away.
