No one got the 2000 in either of the first 2 new hire classes. The largest planes assigned so far have been CE-750 and CE-680.

This talk of upgrade is ridiculous. I find in comical that pilots think they can predict the future of aviation. After about 20 minutes in the business, I quickly learned that as soon as you assume something, it changes the following day.

Absolutely correct!

Based on that....I'll make a prediction about up-grade to captain at NetJets:

NetJets copilots will up-grade to captain after Hansell locks us all out and we find other jobs.

Most of your comments are correct, but the part about never making 100k as an SIC is not. On the 7&7 and 15 day it would be tough. On the 18 day I've made 100k+ for the last 3 years with no extended days. I just got to the top of the pay scale this year. I fully admit the 18 day schedule sucks, but it is pretty easy to go over 100k on it on the even the <40000' fleets one you have around year 8 pay. The pay needs to be closer to 200k for how much and hard you work on the 18. I can't wait to either get a new contract that I can afford to work an easier schedule or start at one of the majors.

I've tried to stay out since my last post (which was about as popular as a fart during church), but 200k for an FO flying a six seat airplane?
Again, I know how hard you work. I also have first hand experience in the quality of pilots the fractional world has (former CitationAir pilot for many years). I truly hope you guys get what you want. That said, like I've said before, that may be a bit unrealistic.
Please, I know some will say I'm worthless (response to last post), but I'm trying to be realistic.
Yet again, I hope you guys get everything you want and more. You deserve it, but I'm just trying to be realistic.

We just had a 50-year-old PIC quit to start over as an FO at United.

Absolutely.

Who cares how many seats it has? In the not-too-distant past, we had 737s configured with 18 seats. It's a question of the revenue the plane generates, and our little planes generate quite a lot.

I have a pretty good idea what the aircraft generate, but if the FO should be at 200k, which should be roughly 60% captains pay, that would mean a 300k+ captain. Now maybe I'm wrong, but a 20,000 lb airplane with a half million dollar cockpit crew sounds awesome, but not reality.
Again, I'll support you all the way to the bank if you can pull it off.

We appreciate the support, : ) it's nice to be a pro pilot in the current environment with everybody hiring, everybody making money, we will fight for our share and then some.

Yep, I know it's in China, but $215K net (!) is a LOT of $$$. If they can afford to pay it there then the company can afford to pay it here.
