Cape Air

FO pay is like 9.40 an hour. its based on duty time not flight time and your guaranteed 40 hours a week. so not making much but if you get PIC mins (135 IFR PIC mins) you get a pay boost and when you hit ATP mins you get captain pay. and say you hit captain your 2nd year in your pay starts at year 2 captain pay.
also commuting could be a challenge depends on how far you live from base.

12 months if you get your ATP with cape air. 6 months if you already have your ATP.

Kirksville is a two pilot base, it is basically a 4on/3off. I believe it is three 14 hour days with your 4th being somewhere around a 7 or 8 hour duty day, depending on which shift you bid. If you get your ATP through Cape Air they ask for a twelve month commitment, otherwise, if you already have an ATP, it is just six months. No promissory note, it is just a "will not rehire" on future background checks.

I have a friend who failed a 121 course back in 05 not the check ride but didn't make it through the sim and airline has since gone away! Would the failure still show up on back ground check? He thinking of trying again for airline job. Refreshed on instruments of course
