Yes, the training is all in Hyannis and expect to be there for a while. It was about 2-3 months when I was there. It might have gotten quicker since they got the Sim. I wouldn't expect to get Billings for the first couple of bids.

Is it possible to stay based in the Caribbean year round? Or would one have to go fly up north in the summer every year?

Default Thinking About it....

I've been eying Cape Air for quite some time. Currently sitting at about 1230TT with about 35ME..... I am really wanting to fly the Caribbean routes and Florida. Is it possible to fly in these locations year round? Or will they be moving you back and forth all the time between bases?

I love the interaction with people and the customer service aspect of the business.

There are no more Florida routes. You might be able to hold a Caribbean base such as Nevis or Tortola but I wouldn't count on it. You could be bumped if someone decides they want to try it out.

Any details on how their schedules work? I imagine you've got to take a few months off for training if hired. Just curious.

Training takes a couple of months. Your schedule depends on what base and line you get, but most of them are 4 on 3 off

They are currently having a class a month. The next 3 are: 27-APR, 27-MAY, 22-JUN

I'm guessing you're interviewing next week so you'll probably be offered the May class.
