No. The company can’t staff the bases it presently has.

How does the street captain contract differ from the FO contract?

I had my HR interview on Thursday. Let’s hope it doesn’t take too long for them to schedule my technical interview. I’ve heard horror stories on this thread of it taking half a year!

says who? All of our bases are fully staffed currently. But, to elaborate on why a new base is unlikely, it’s because we do Essential Air Service. Google it. It’s basically a government subsidized contract that’s awarded to companies based on bids for qualifying routes. In order for Spokane to be a base, there would have to be a small city nearby that we would service specifically between those airports. We do however have CASS benefits and KCM, meaning you can live in Spokane and commute to say PDX, DEN, or LAX where we are based.

I do not know if it’s changed but typically it’s 1 year for a Captain @10K and it may vary based on experience for an FO, but likely longer than a year. Someone else here may have details on that.

Anyone know if Boutique is still hiring? Also if there is a contract for direct entry captains? Thanks!

We had a class that started last week, but we've stopped hiring now.

Yes, it was known. But who knows now with the Covid-19 thing going down. May be on hold for a while.
