I think everyone got screwed by COVID one way or another unfortunately. We definitely shouldn’t have had to take a 40% cut though as all our routes are government subsidized. I’d love to see the books. Our CEO has always thought we were overpaid so he saw an opportunity.

The only thing BTQ felt was the 8.5 million in free government money meant to pay employees less than a week after they announced a company wide pay cut for pilots. The CEO knew every detail about accepting the money and took the low road. There are two types of people here now, those who can’t leave due to low time, or those that are looking to leave. Now, new pilot pay is nearly that of a fast food employee, so there’s that.
