So Republic or Endeavor with 18 days off, that would mean each 4 day trip is worth about 28 hours? Any idea how many legs Endeavor does each day to get to 28 hours? Seems like there would not be as many short flights out of Atlanta like we do out of Charlotte, ie to GSO, GSP, AVL, etc that are basically 20 minute flights.

I know Endeavor, and also Republic if I’m not mistaken, pays 150% and 200% for overtime pay compared to our 125% and 150%. Plus they have a min day with no carve outs of 4 or 4.25 hours a day compared to our 3.5 which only applies if you start before noon on day 1 and/or end after 5:00 on the last day. Plus 100% DH pay compared to our 50%.
If we had a min day of 4 hours with no carve outs and 100% DH that would give me an extra 4-7 hours per month with the same schedules we have now.
And it’s not just Endeavor and Republic. Someone posted a screenshot of Mesa’s (Mesa for crying out loud) opentime on processing a month or so ago. Almost every 4 day trip was over 20 hours. 3 days were over 15 hours. That was their OPEN TIME. If that was their open time what kind of credit are guys actually flying with their awarded schedules?

I think Republic and Endeavor on average have longer flights than we do, but the main difference is the soft pay (DH pay, min day, overtime).

Keep in mind. PBS looks at 'pairings' not legs to build a schedule. Junk in = Junk out. If people are not familiar with 'Unstacking' 'credit windows' etc. they have no idea what they're signing up for. PSA is obviously committed to
The 'Junk-in' at present. Until
We have rigs there will be no change, it's the one driver for massive change for the better in pairing construction. PBS solves nothing by itself.

Just for balance to the conversation
Endeavor doesn't get paid marketing times block or better, a 20 hour 4day there can pay 19 hours because they use average block time or better, which in CLT is huge from marketing block time.
Ask anyone you know there, their credit column on their trips can easily be lower than their block column.
Plus if you get a PBS schedule with 75 hours and 11 days off how are you going to pick up 150%? Where will you put it without a conflict, esp if the pot has mostly 4 days?
I exit the SAP every month with a min monthly, 5:00 hour daily credit average. Which is what United has.
When I'am luckily enough I can get my daily credit average up to 5:24 for the month.
No I don't think PSA is the place for highest compensation, or ever has been since its entire existence. For 5-8 months in 2014 some guys made some chedder but outside of that it hasn't been anything to brag about. But then again after about year 2.5 years almost any decent FO can leave for an LCC or ACMI which pays more.
I wish we had 9e, Rah rates, I don't wish we had 5 day trips which they both have.
