Which is why I was saying if they don't do something (I don't know exactly what AA can do in this situation) they are going to be screwed for pilots very shortly.

You'll get some that will hang around for a flow because they don't want to finish their degree or hope to shoot up the seniority ladder quickly at AA but the "first one to call'" rule will soak up the majority.

As reference, in 2018 AA hired 939 pilots.

55% were flows from the 3 WO
24% Mil OTS
21% Civ OTS (regionals, cargo, etc.) (6% were WO outside of flow)

Hi guys, today my application is changed from under review to talent pool/not selected, does it mean that I am not selected or I am still in the pool and there might have a chance to be selected in the future? I have not received any TBNT email yet. Thanks

that's an average of ~78 per month when Delta and United are talking ~200 per month

And none of the majors have EVER hired more than 1204 per year (~100 per month).

So, is the ~200 per month realistic? Have they installed double the amount of simulators? How are they going to do that?

I just know we're attriting ~20 month without a flow...

We’re averaging more than that leaving every month. To be honest... I know there is a lot of talk of the flow increasing but looking at current attrition without the 10 /month flow and not even factoring in hiring kicking into full swing and attrition really spiking yet... I’m not seeing how they’ll be able to keep up.

Have you try contacting any recruiter?
My dashboard shows 2 applications, probably because i did apply via Airline apps and website, one of them show a s " I withdrew my application" ( WTH?) , the other shows as Submitted.
I have sent a couple emails to enquire about the status on them and have not received any reply to my emails.

Please remember that PSA fired almost their entire recruiting and hiring team, and only kept a couple of HR people. They are struggling and until we replace who is in charge of hiring this is what should be expected. The pilots that were doing interviews are all moving on to legacy airlines. Do not expect things to go smoothly during the hiring process.
