I don't think the sim eval is part of the interview anymore.

The one I did years ago was an md88 takeoff, climb, level off, steep turns, hold entry, brief and fly an ILS.

Definitely no sim I would say. Mine was in October though. They are hiring so many that the interview are literally 10 minutes long.

Hey guys. I am a previous 121 pilot with 4500 hours as a regional fo, but i haven't flown in 2 years. Do you guys think I can go ahead and apply at PSA, or do i need to go out to the airport, rent a cessna and instructor and get instrument current first? I read on the previous page that some of the people who interviewed were not current.. so is that not an issue? Thanks.

I think you'd be okay to apply. I'd recommend on getting instrument current before class though.

Currency doesn't seem to be an issue, but a little time in a sim probably wouldn't hurt before you get that far.

If you've got 121 time, they will interview you, of that I'm sure.

PM me for more info and a referral.

Currency likely won't be an issue for the interview, but it will be in the sim. Highly recommend getting current. Even if it's just in a Frasca.

First day of indoc is completed. I gotta say the instructors are pretty cool. Good mix of pilots as well. Some instructors, Some part 135, some part 121 and a couple ex military. Instructor said 7 month upgrade time for a guy who has previous 121 experience. Seems like a really great company to work for.

I think some may be interested in your class size if you know. Good friend of mine in the next class.
