What everyone should realize is the company has priced the situation out and decided what they want to achieve. then they game the situation out to several different pants to the same conclusion, their goal, which they never tell us. they want to achieve what they want to achieve, and they have shown a propensity in the past for doing whatever it takes to get there. this situation is no different.

We've been working to help pilots move up not sideways. This benefited all pilots and not only our own. We have not been trying to steal pilots from one regional to staff another regional; that has been your MEC. Staffing a regional should be left to management. They can fix it by writing a check.

Have you bothered to ask the PCL MEC if there was any discussion of longevity transfer for ENY pilots?
In fact, the coversations were with Delta, the response came by way of Endeavor management asking their MEC what longevity transfer they'd give Envoy pilots. Who do you think pushed National to get United to run the open house, or the Alaska one. We started that back at the BOD meeting. The Envoy MEC has been hard at work helping pilots move UP, not sideways. We leave sideways gaming to the likes of the PSA MEC. Solving regional staffing is the job of management; they can fix it with their checkbook as demonstrated by Endeavor.
You make a lot of assumptions and false accusations for having such an obvious lack of factual information.

To add to this, we should consider recalling our mec and other reps if they do not stop trying to get **** accomplished that we aren't in favor of. For instance, why the hell has the ssp not been fully addressed? IF the company is really interested in staffing then they need to realize people need an incentive to go here, or anywhere else, growth isn't enough in this day and age.
Who the hell decided it was smart to elect an MEC Chair that was planning on leaving next week? Holy crap, how short sighted was that? We should be looking for a chair that plans on staying for at least a year or two longer.
1. I agree that the MEC should be judged based on tangible accomplishments. So far, there have been delays in reaching those milestones, in the shape of postponements and dragging, but if desirable outcomes are reached in the near future - all will be forgotten in my opinion (at-least as far as I am concerned). I am more interested in examining the results, than the process.
2. It was not known that the chair would be leaving when he was appointed as far as I know.
3. I believe in transparency, but I know that the MEC can't always show all their cards at any given time - that would effectively hurt the collective interest more than the group having access to every single detail known to the MEC (within reason).

Yea I guess I'd I would have assumed Delta didn't control the eagle seniorty guys would want to keep before you helped them move vertically by quiting and going to year one at Endeavor. Guess they need to pay their dues like everyone else in this business who isn't in their 50's.

There are three tiers in my opinion:
- Those that volunteer
- Those that don't volunteer but are engaged, informed and participate in the process.
- Those that are neither of the above, but still demand things.
I have no sympathy for the last type, however they are still union due paying members. Each pilot falls within one of those parameters IMHO.
