When did you interview?

I am trying to get an idea on timeframe from Interview to start date, given the supposed new hiring/training times

I believe the last class of all FO's was late June. The first DEC class started July 6th and it has been two classes per month.

I know one started the following week after my upgrade class started. I think that was June 8th. I wasn't aware another F/O class started after that.

Last week, I met one of the DECs. He was going to CLT for differences training. They seem to be moving through quickly.

Can anyone confirm with me the DOH for most junior captain at any of your bases and roughly DOH for captain line holder? Also, how many days off do line holders have on average - FO or Capt. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

A CA award just came out that has 17 direct entry CA's starting the 25th of AUG so they'll be the most junior. As for days off for line holders your looking at 11+ days off depending on how efficient SAP is for the given month. I usually see guys getting 13-15 days off on the FO side. Not to sure about the CA side.

Edit: I think the DOH of the most junior CA line holder is somewhere in 2012. Someone correct me if that's no longer accurate.

I believe those DEC's listed on todays award are already on property, they just hadn't been awarded a base previously. The FO's upgrading to CA will be the ones starting on the 25th.

Regardless, what you said is still pretty accurate, the most junior Captains would be the DEC's that started this week.

No what they did was hire these DEC's without an actual award when they started then came out with this huge vacancy anticipating current FO's wouldn't take all the vacancies and then awarding these DEC's half of the spots.

Late 2013 new hires are holding at least round two lines in CLT
