The Useful PSA Thread

Management here is going to cripple this place. It's inept and they're making PSA into a career killer while openly telling us that we're "just regional pilots" and don't deserve better. Yes, that was said to our hotel committee. Meanwhile they want to trap you here until you hit your 12 year cap so they can cover their poor management style of always being behind the curve. We thought maybe new management would be beneficial. They're as bad if not worse than the prior regime with the added fun of actively trying to kill careers.

That being said, you guys are going to get a flow and probably won't be giving anything up for it

Including bonuses, average first year pay is $31/hr. PSA offers no bonus and their first year pay is $24/hr.
Currently about 15/month are leaving(including FO attrition). No more than 25/month are coming in, with a net gain of 10. That's enough for only one additional airframe per month.
How will the company attract enough pilots with it's below industry first year pay?
The only regional with lower first year pay is Mesa.

Sure about that? This list seems fairly accurate aside from Skywest.

I did not include lakes or silver.
I included bonuses in my comparison which the data in that article is over a year old and does not. A $10,000 bonus ups your pay rate by about $8/hr.

You guys deserve nothing more then that, although history has proven you would gladly accept even more concessions for an actual flow.
