In the early 1990s, I spent a bit over five years at Flagship Airlines which was one of the airlines which eventually merged into American Eagle Airlines and is now Envoy. There are still quite a few names that I would recognize from those days on the Envoy seniority list and that is a big part of Envoy's problem. Envoy's average longevity is a lot higher than their competition (for AE flying) so they are more expensive even without their pay rates being better (higher).

It looks to me like AAG is actively trying to keep the average longevity down at it's wholly-owned regionals by offering flow or a simplified selection process.

I hope that those E-175s end up at Envoy.

None. As CRJ-900s come on line they are replacing Mesa's CRJ-900s in CLT. Mesa's CRJ-900s are moving, I believe, to DFW to fly for AAG there.

What are the reserve times these days?
Several months in CLT. Zero to one month at TYS. I don't know about DAY.

Anyone at PSA know if a there are talks of creating a program to complete the ATP written in training? I would assume expressjet would not be the only ones doing this in the future.

Yes there are plans for that. Not sure how far along they are on it.

Company is too busy growing. +60 new hires every month takes tremendous logistics to work out. Mind you this was a 400 pilot regional a few months ago. It will come at some point

Until they start issuing those then yes. You'll be issued a thumb drive with various company manuals, systems info, etc.

No, not yet. With Mesa moving out of Charlotte, PSA will be picking up a lot of the flying so even though there is lots of new flying to be had, it doesn't look like any new bases will be opening in the near future. Of course that could change later in 2015 or 2016 if the additional planes exceed the amount of flying that Mesa is leaving in Charlotte.

Very short reserve time in Knoxville. For some guys it's just waiting till the next bid comes out. Charlotte I hear is 1 to 2 months on reserve
