Darn FO's! : )
Another airline I know of, for the 6 weeks of the 'transition' period, had the CA's carry A-M, and FO's N-Z. PSA Fleet mgmt won't be that smart though..

Ha. Ya, they wouldn't ever come up with something like that.

I guess I will just keep carrying my bag for another 6 months. It is like a free workout every time we swap planes.

Like I said.. I'll keep the paper and keep my ipad at home for prono's... my FO can just zoom in on the chart so I can see from my side..

Default PSA bases/aircraft

Does every base have 2/7/900s? Or are some of the bases mostly flying to 200s for example?

Default Reserve time

With the new CVG base opening up, which base has the shortest reserve time, and roughly how long is it?

They are all pretty short accept for CLT. And that's not to say CLT even has that long of a reserve time. CVG probably has the shortest reserve time as of now, but the lines they posted for January weren't so hot. I'm sure they will improve over time and either way, it's still better than short call and hot reserve.

All bases fly all of the airplanes. Typically, the lines are built as 200 lines and 700/900 lines, but once you hold a line, you can easily drop/add trips so you will likely have a mix. If you are DAY or TYS based, expect to fly the 200 more than the 900. If you are CLT, you can go 6 months without flying the 200 unless you try to get it.

Personally, I have flown all 3 types on the same day on several occasions. It happens.

When I was DAY based, I flew mostly 700 trips out of DCA. I'd have maybe one 200 trip per month. Granted I was a round one line holder, and SAP'd a lot. I hardly flew the 900, but now that I'm CLT based, it's going to be mostly 900 trips. CVG is supposedly going to be mainly a 900 base.
