Don't get your panties in a bunch, you're asking for advise about going to the most hated regional out there and you don't even live in base
pagey PSA does not offer commuter hotels. There are airlines that do, so you were not dreaming it. Unfortunately, PSA is not one of them. We cannot even get a hotel in base for a cancelled overnight while mid-trip.
You will need a crashpad while on reserve if you do not live within the callout time of your base.

HA! I'm not upset. We are all just writing back and forth having conversation. I didn't know PSA was the most hated regional. I just don't keep up with all of that. Honestly I would have figured that if there was a most hated regional it would be Great Lakes. Dare I ask why PSA is so hated?
Thank you for the input! Something to think about.

While I disagree with the former pilot group voting that contract it, I have to say that it's passing did the exact opposite. If not for PSAs massive growth and upgrades, there would never have been that massive FO shuffle. And without that happening, no regional would have had any reason to change their pay. Just my opinion.

Hmm that was before we got the bonus and new contract provisions. They would have upgraded if they stayed and would have made double that they are now.

What a naive comment, if all them boy's hadent left all that money wouldn't be there. You knew that though and still posted. Besides, with there terrible ISL thers 500 numbers between some of them. Are you saying Endeaver upgraded 500 Fo's to captain in the last 12 months?

If your family can deal with you being gone 20+ days a month, they can deal with you being gone the other 10, and you are totally not needed or serve a purpose to them.
Guys in the past didn't have much of an option, so they did the best they could. Nowadays it would be purposefully inflicting tortue on them and yourself.

There would be no bonus had we stayed. I couldn't be happier about leaving Endeavor. I am a Captain, live in base, and will probably make close to what I would have had I stayed. But I don't have to commute to be on reserve in NY so I'm saving a few hundo a month on that front. I guarantee no one who left is having second thoughts. I wish I had left Endeavor sooner.
