I have zero problem with knowing the procedures and I'm quite the opposite of what you think. I'm usually the first to know them. What I do have a problem with, is people coming on a forum like this complaining in the manner in which he did. Looks so professional.
And to your "quiz," no you can't. To further help you since you enjoy quizzing, you can't do to the temp and the rain, AND cloud height. However, you need to quiz captains cause you wouldn't believe how many wanna shut One down on the way in.

And about the single engine thing. You'd be shocked how many would not have known. I single taxi every chance I get. Has nothing to do with the company, that's my gas.

If the update isn't published in the plane and we don't have iPads, why are you frustrated about the compliance. Why implement a new procedure from memory with nothing consult for details.

I guess my frustration shouldn't have been taken out on you personally and for that I apologize. What I will say is that just because the company did a poor job publishing and announcing the revision doesn't mean that we aren't responsible for the info in it. After all, it is available on the company website.

I fully agree, especially when you check the DRS/STAR, and notice there's a newer revision. The fact that even after this people still don't read them blows my mind. Like I said, my issue was a pilot coming on a public forum like this to complain in an unprofessional manner. There are a million better ways to handle it and he took the worst.

I single engine taxi because the delays on the Charlotte ramp can be very long and I like having the extra gas in case I need it.
@MitchRapp And no, for the weather provided, I would not single engine taxi because the ceiling is less than 400' (never mind the light rain) and it is below 10C, so I would have the cowls on.
