The FAA part is done. AAG wanted to moved the cost into this quarter, hence the delay.. I was told by fleet mgmt IPADs would be Feb for LCAs and Mar for the rest of the group.

plus another 6 months of 'trial runs' where they get to carry paper and e charts... dumb... thats what we get for not doing a small group trial for 6 months like most other places..

I'll probably leave mine at home for the first 6 months and watch prono's with it..

Not sure how true, but I heard that only the Captains will have to carry the paper charts for the 6 months. I guess that we get paid more $$$ anyways.

Another airline I know of, for the 6 weeks of the 'transition' period, had the CA's carry A-M, and FO's N-Z. PSA Fleet mgmt won't be that smart though..

Ha. Ya, they wouldn't ever come up with something like that.

I guess I will just keep carrying my bag for another 6 months. It is like a free workout every time we swap planes.

Like I said.. I'll keep the paper and keep my ipad at home for prono's... my FO can just zoom in on the chart so I can see from my side..
