Why would they keep 200s when they could have 900s? They would park 200s before stopping delivery of 900s.

Most all of the CVG flying is just CLT or DAY flying that was taken for some unknown reason. CVG as a base makes little sense with DAY so close. Hopefully they will close DAY and move everything to CVG, including all off the corporate operations. The old Comair buildings would be perfect.
It makes little sense to you because you only look at it from a Pilot's perspective. There is a bigger picture, like where do the aircraft get worked on over night is just another part of the picture.

They also like to boast the artificial class size number. 18 in a "indoc" class which 3 might be sim instructors, another 2 or 3 ground instructors, a couple of dispatchers and only around 10 FOs that will go through the full training foot print from indoc to IOE. Of those 10, at least 1 or 2 will not be around in 6 months.
Grassy Knoll and black helicopters. It's a huge conspiracy to keep you in the dark about class numbers............... Not

Agreed. I believe PSA management was trying to slow the delivery pace from 3/mo to 2/mo, but AA said no. AA wants those -900s flying, and I would imagine they will sacrifice -200s to do so.

Yes. We operate under the CL-65 type rating with the ability/permission to fly the 200, 700 and 900.

Just look at the seniority list and compare a series of hire dates from about 2-3 months ago. The names and numbers put on the seniority list are a little more hard and fast than the PSA facebook page. If you are so new that you don't have access to flica, that's your problem.

Just looked at the latest seniority list and it shows ten in the November class. From what I can tell, the latest class in December is not on the latest seniority list. Still less than 1200 pilots on the seniority list which has been the same size for the last six month.

What is the supposed end number that PSA is trying to reach? 2500? If there are 1200 there now, and supposedly hiring 1000 in 2016, then 400 a year after that (according to a quote on the FB page), whats the end number?

What is the "normal" attrition rate, aside from the flow? 50 a year?
