The don't want 1000 pilots in 2016, it's 1000 pilots in the next 2 years so that makes it much more attainable, although whether that can even be pulled off is yet to be seen.

50 pilots a month would be tough.

Has anyone had experience with their open houses? They advertise on site interviews. Are the interviews the same format as normal; 25 question test and panel interview or something more condensed? Are hiring decisions made at these events or are they interviews to get an interview?

Thank you in advance.

No it is mostly just junior FOs worried that we aren't going to get enough pilots hired behind them so they can move up. Most of us just want the arbitrator to hurry up and force the company to start following that said 2013 contract where pilots were getting industry leading pay.

Most all of the CVG flying is just CLT or DAY flying that was taken for some unknown reason. CVG as a base makes little sense with DAY so close. Hopefully they will close DAY and move everything to CVG, including all off the corporate operations. The old Comair buildings would be perfect.
I don't think DAY will close, it may shrink for the pilots as CVG grows. They just started construction on a new maintenance hangar. My question is how are we staffed with mechanics? A mechanic at the gate said they have had a bit of turn over due to working conditions.

I guess you are unfamiliar with the four month stretch when PSA management was abiding by the 10 year CBA they signed and was frequently paying many pilots over 130hrs a month for only working 80-90. Do your research, I saw a paystub with a pilot getting 185 hrs of pay for 92 hrs of block/dhd time.

What is the "normal" attrition rate, aside from the flow? 50 a year?
It's a thousand in two years, not one year. 500 for growth, 500 for attrition. I'm not sure anyone can guess any better than that.

The SAP was from the previous contract.
