I got mine a couple weeks ago, might want to email them as there is a study guide in there with mandatory memory items.

CTP program is a little back logged while they get more instructors certified to teach it. CVG is expected to be back to capacity with upgrades by Februaryish so they're moving a lot of the CTP to CLT. I think roughly half of each class needs the CTP course, not 100% on that number though.

Also there are very specific, extensive and detailed paperwork requirements that need to be with you when you show up for indoc class. I know of at least one case where the new hire didn't get that email and didn't have the required documents.

Does anyone know how training works for those with ATP and CRJ rating? Contemplating switch to PSA from SkyWest. All depends if I can determine if TPA to CLT is easier commute than TPA to ORD.

A buddy of mine commutes TPA-CLT and says its pretty easy, also PSA does SRQ-CLT as a backup.

We have several Tampa commuters never heard them complain much if at all.

Do I have to do the same training as a new hire?
Is it possible to get CLT out of training?

You'll have to do the full new hire training program, but if you already know the CRJ it'll be a breeze. Just need to dump the Skywest procedures and callouts and learn the PSA way. Plus you're eligible for the extra 5k new hire bonus on top of the current 16k offering since you're already typed.

Right now most bases should be available 1-3 months after IOE. The longer you wait to start class the harder it will be as we have a huge wave rolling in right now.
