PSA info

It's not everything about the bonuses, it about the Sh....t they are trying to get away with. I dont need the bonus(bribe), I need them to increase the pay for every pilot by $20 and they would have plenty applicants to fly the shiny jets, until then I am sure LION will not sleep well at night.

I mentioned this before but even with a 10k bonus, first year pay is still below compass, endeavor, Gojet, Skywest, expressjet, republic, and trans states. Also without the bonus your second year pay at PSA will be less than your first.
Add to this PSA has a terrible contract, which they are presently violating with critical pay and no commuter hotel for your most likely 2 leg commute to Dayton.
PSA can't get new pilots in the door so that means no upgrades, you will be stuck on reserve, again in Dayton. They can't staff the airplanes the have, they have deffered airplanes they were supposed to receive, and more pilots are leaving than being hired each month.
Don't be fooled by the propaganda in the ads
There is No Growth
There is No Stability
There is No Incentive to come to PSA (except maybe living in base)

Wholly owned management is just middle management. ALL of the shots are called by AAG and just disseminated through the wholly owned management. That's why this current negotiations weren't really negotiations at all, it was a take it or leave it proposition. Our management has no flexibility because their leashes just aren't that long. We are always negotiating with middle management and we will never be able to negotiate with the people who really call the shots.

I'm kinda meh about their decision.
If it was no strings attached money, should've taken it while telling them it wasn't enough and we're sure you'll be back. We've been moaning about FO pay in the regionals for so long, but the moment someone offered FOs money we turn it down because there's no CA money.
You really think the CAs are going to go somewhere?
Also, Envoy has proven that there's risk to telling Parker no. Ask the Compass guys how they're liking those aircraft with AA paint on the side.

AAG can't just start a new crap airline like TSA did with Gojet. There aren't the pilots available to do it. Also it's pretty hard to undercut an airline that is already at the bottoms like PSA.
AAG can improve PSA, or they can shut it down and admit their entire wholly owned flow driven plan was a failure. Then we all end up at different airlines with better contracts.

That's fine. Let's all go to Compass. Better pay scales, 4hr min day, 80% deadhead pay.

Like I said, if it was no strings attached, I don't think there was any harm in saying yes. They'd have been back.
If they were trying to attach it to some CCP settlement, oh hellz no.....

One word: MESA. Pretty sure they already know how to fly 900s. According to here they're still getting 30 guys a class to show up.

This is how I feel it's free money. I don't see why they would offer CAs money when they arnt leaving either. People think we have a lot more leverage than we do. Envoy would love to keep those 700s, Mesa would love our 900s and we have plenty of 50 seaters to not use. We know it's not enough to bring in new pilots so why not take it and then take the other money they will have to offer to keep us going. We're fighting a guy that has proven time and time again not to say no. These people saying o well we can just go some where with better pay better do it now otherwise they will be on the back end of hiring at another airline in the same position.
