Second engine......runnning.

Technically the POH still calls it a DRS so get your terminology standardized.

Makes me wonder how many people screwed up the delayed engine starts so that this was added. Then again there are a lot of dumbsass CA's that cannot seem to run simple checklists. Or clean up after themselves. Or leave the seat in the "pimp my ride" setting. Or shut the airplane down when the next flight is due out in 20 minutes. The list goes on and on.

Oh I know you. You're that guy that knows the company manuals inside and out, but flys like sh*t and doesn't know what to do when things go outside of what the manual suggest.

You mean the update that was sent out over the holidays without an accompanying summary of changes? I'm shocked that everyone isn't thoroughly up to speed before mid-January. Shocked, I tell you.

Seriously? I know you. You're the guy that thinks he's too good of a pilot to stay on top of procedure changes, but busts his line check because he doesn't know how to fly the plane the way the company pays him to. Manuals and procedures aren't suggestions. It is attitudes like yours that will get this airline into trouble.

Here's a little quiz. Temp 6, Vis 8 with -RA, ceiling OVC002, can you single engine taxi?

Why would you ever single engine taxi?

I have zero problem with knowing the procedures and I'm quite the opposite of what you think. I'm usually the first to know them. What I do have a problem with, is people coming on a forum like this complaining in the manner in which he did. Looks so professional.

And to your "quiz," no you can't. To further help you since you enjoy quizzing, you can't do to the temp and the rain, AND cloud height. However, you need to quiz captains cause you wouldn't believe how many wanna shut One down on the way in.
