I have been using hotel and airport WiFi for more than 2 years to finish my masters degree program online. I always travel with my laptop, and use the internet for at least a couple hours each night. I have never had a problem with the wifi at any hotel or airport. Period. You can easily update your charts. There are no issues here at all.

This is just people being whiny brats. Be grateful that we have ipads and no longer have to update paper charts.
Pilots have a bad history of complaining about everything, wether it is justified or not. We cry wolf over every little thing to the point that no one listens to us anymore. This is just another example of this. We are our own worst enemy. If we would stop complaining about all of the stupid things, and just concentrated on 1 or 2 issues, then things might get fixed.
Stop looking for problems where they don't exist.
Grow up and show some maturity. Figure it out and solve the problem.

I've consistently had issues with WiFi in FAY, HSV, CAK to name a few. Usually due to a weak broadcast signal due to being put at the end of the hallway. That being said, I'll gladly indulge in our gracious data plan, and consistently exceed the data limit every month. I've yet to hear anything about going over.

I always have problems with Baton rouge. But only with personal devices. Never the iPad.

I've been noticing that several of the CRJ200 here at PSA are getting new upholstery on the seats, new seat belts, and new carpet in the cabins. Strange to think considering all the rumors about parking 200. The one I was dead heading on actually looked pretty decent for a deuce.

Gotta get them pretty for AWAC. AA doesn't want to pay AWAC prices for it when they can pay PSA prices (sarcasm).
They are just sitting at PSA. No ASM lost. Once they get to AWAC they won't rest since they can actually staff them and they're schedules are actually full.

Take a trip to ROW sometime and see how many AA 767s in NEW COLORS are sitting out there being stripped for parts. Why spend some serious dough taking an aircraft offline to repaint it knowing you are just going to fly it to the desert in a few months? Doug Parker, that's why.

That's classic America West...I mean US Airways....I mean American Airlines. In short: Classic Doug Parker.
