How long does it normally take to receive travel arrangements from PSA for the initial interview? Monday will be 2 weeks since I forwarded my selected interview date.

Did you get a interview confirmation email? I think I remember reading in mine to expect travel arrangements to come 3-4 days before interview date.

No I have not received a confirmation email. I only received the email regarding the available days to select from and for us to email our choice back to the email address provided.

You've probably already done this but I would check to make sure that your email went through. I would also send a follow up email as well. We need pilots so there is no reason for them not to get back to you considering they already offered you interview date options.

Thanks so much for your help, I did send a small follow up email. Hopefully I can get in, interview and receive a class date and get started. If there truly is a shortage I'm available and ready to go today at this very moment if called. PSA allows me to drive into Knoxville or fly 45 minutes to Charlotte. Basically I'm choosing to be closer to home than going for the money at other places. I hope it all works out. And from what I've been told from a friend the 900 is a pretty good bird.

I've been told the same thing. Back in April, I brought up these concerns...the unreliability of various hotel wifi servers, the lack of security on those same servers and the pitiful wifi reception in CLT. I asked if AAG was at all concerned about these issues and the answer was "apparently not."

Now, it seems they are concerned.

Seems to me the smart thing would have been to install WiFi when the refurbished the CLT crew room. And rumor is that they are going to refurbish the TYS room and install WiFi then. But we know how rumors go...

Apparently you two didn't read the (below) entry from the previous page.

Needless to say, it did show that we are pretty much staffed for our current flying and hiring is keeping up with attrition (for now). That is probably why the company and AAG have zero interest in negotiating for improvements at this time.

Or drive 3.5 to CVG for a line...

I think honestly if they close a base it won't be to open another new one, it will just be to simply close it. An inability to attract new hires and eventual contraction will be the name of the game in the next couple of years at most of the regionals. It's already beginning at some.
Those staffing projections change monthly, if not weekly.
