That rumor I've heard from a few LCA, and the reason they were saying was that one of the things PSA has to provide during the trial period and from there on is wifi to the crews. Not a single crew room has wifi, and the airport doesn't count apparently because it isn't a designated crew area. Now if these are in fact things that the iPad program requires I have no idea. But this was the explanation I received from a few guys.

Just curious,..... we've received the last of the new 900's. After that happened, we were supposed to resume the receipt of Envoy's 700's. Is that happening or has that plan quietly died.
Also, I can't seem to find that "fleet growth" chart that PSA published and paraded around at past job fairs and recruiting events. It seems to have disappeared from their website.
Anyone have any insight?

How many more classes will PSA offer for the rest of 2016? Just curious because I haven't recieved my confirmation for my interview yet. Maybe they are backed up with emails and other applicants. I was hoping to have training complete by thanksgiving. That's my personal goal anyway.

As of last week from recurrent rumors are that Envoy 700s resume transfering in January but with staffing the way it is there is no way we could take 2-3 aircraft a month for very long unless they don't mind more 200s getting parked. I heard CVG will close and ORD will open this winter all on one bid so those that are junior can expect to be displaced to ORD.
As for CVG closing, I can see it happening, ORD opening the CP was in my recurrent and he said they were (past tense) ready to open that up a few months ago, but with staffing numbers being terrible that idea was postponed, maybe this winter?
Honestly, I think the 700s aren't coming, and the fleet we have now give or take a little bit is it.

Friend told me we have a lot of people leaving. 5-10 to DAL, a few to ual, frontier, spirit, allegiant, Kallita, atlas, charter all real soon. So much for PSA pilots being blacklisted to other major carriers

I have seen with my own eyes an internal AAG staffing projection spreadsheet. It did not account for the remaining 700s being transferred to PSA from Envoy. So take that for what you will. I do believe our growth is done. I too have heard the rumors of AAG wanting PSA to close CVG but I've heard strong arguments for and against the idea so who really knows what will happen. I think honestly if they close a base it won't be to open another new one, it will just be to simply close it. An inability to attract new hires and eventual contraction will be the name of the game in the next couple of years at most of the regionals. It's already beginning at some.
