I don't care who you email, but call/email someone. Complaining on forums doesn't do much. 200+ emails in someone's inbox of people fed up with this SAP bs would wake someone up. And if not then it becomes official that we have no union.
Why bother? The apathy at this airline is at an unbelievable level. No one gives a flying f&@k. Just call in sick. 20 cancelled flights will get a lot more attention than even 1000 emails.

Even after you hold a line, the SAP is worthless.

The management is hostile towards pilots, and will threaten you if you try to call in sick or fatigued, or if you refuse an extension.

If you use more than a few sick days a year, you will be written up (you can not use the sick hours that you accrue without being sent a letter of warning).

The recruiters will lie to you.

Your Union will not support you.

(In some cases, our recruiters are also union officials, which shows the level of hypocrisy with both groups)

If you are considering coming to PSA, be aware that you will be stuck on reserve for a LONG time. You will be capped at 4 year pay, and will not upgrade for years. You will never flow to American.
Is this really the case nowadays?

Classic.

This just demonstrates the inept lunacy of the SAP program. But the programmers from Sabre, (i.e. AAG) say it's working just fine!

I just wanted to see if you figured out a way to voice your opinion that was actually productive.

Just because the trip may have had less hours in total doesn't mean you wouldn't trigger a 117 buffer like that. If the first day or two of the trip you were trying to trade into had more hours than the trip you were trying to drop you could still trigger that denial.

Not saying that's actually what happened, but it is plausible.
