Outdated news ChrisReedRules. XNA was out of the running months ago.

AAG is all about the money. Period.
What corporation isn't all about the money? It's called fiduciary responsibility to share holders. Would you want the company you work for making decisions that cost more money than they should?

I want AA to be wildly profitable. I've been through airline BK. Not fun.

Yes all three will merge into a super regional. Envoy will only do the ASE flying since they are super awesome.

Very unlikely. It'll realistically take between 8-10 years to flow for a newhire as it stands right now. AAG will have to do something to entice newhires to come to one of their 3 regionals and since most other airlines pay much better, they are banking on the flow but at almost a decade it wont pay off. My guess is they'll do their best to get than number down to 6 years at all 3 wholly owned or maybe just maybe they'll increase pay. Problem with that is they'll have to do it to all 3; they dont want one airline to have a hire advantage over the others. AAG put themselves in a unique position by having 3 wholly owned regionals.

Not according to the CLT CPs... Which is directly where this rumor has been rekindled.

How many MX bases are we looking to end up with? We already have 4.

To the prior, I'm going to go ahead and say absolutely no way XNA becomes a CREW base. The company is going to be in trouble staffing wise. XNA not only doesn't help recruiting efforts, it may harm them if a new hire knows they are going to be stuck in Arkansas for 6 months after being hired.

The next base will be a hub. I still haven't seen this rumored "Chicago flying" but I have seen a crap ton of LGA flying. I'd bet on one of those.

The CPs are probably spreading bread crums just to see who comes on APC and spills the beans.

First of all, those dots represent where the current bases are (PSA and Mainline). They are NOT the possibilities of a new base location. It may be another hub base (like CLT), but nothing is guaranteed.

Second of all, there is no way that the company is using this Facebook post as anything more than a topic to generate hits on their page. AAG will determine where the base will be to best fill the needs of the required flying at the cheapest cost. Period.
