Does anyone know when interviewing if PSA prefers electronic logs or paper? I filled up my first logbook and trying to decide if I should move into the digital world or keep with the paper logs? Thx

On the electronic logs, I'd do both.
I only have paper but plan to convert them eventually.

I should have clarified that's Wednesday of next week, not tomorrow.

IPT - Integrated Procedure Trainer (I think).

It is the touch screen TV cockpit simulators. Overhead panel, front panels, thrust quadrant. You will learn flows, callouts, approaches, departures/arrivals, and all of the other things that will make the sims go much more smoothly in these. You will get 10 sessions learning all all of this stuff before you get to the sims.

CSI - don't remember what it stands for. It is like prep for the sims. You will go through flight scenarios. Think of it as sim prep to make sure that you are prepared.

Thanks for the glitch. I'm trying to absorb all this new to me stuff (and there's a lot of it). Unlike many that have aspired to the airlines for years and were in that world, I never even considered a regional airline until a few weeks ago so I'm really playing catch up. I'll get there, just gonna have to work hard at it.

No preference just have a printed version of your time available. I still use only my paper logs. A few in my class all had electronic.

If you want to make life easier after PSA then I'd start doing electronic.

Does PSA have profit sharing? How does that work and how much can pilots expect?

Yes, and we have no idea. It is 5% of total AAG profits, divided up. This will be the first year with it, so we don't know what it will be.

I have heard guesses of $1500 to $3000 per pilot. They are just guesses.

We also get "on time" bonuses. It is about $800-$1000 a year.

Both of those are not counted in the $58,500 that is advertised for first year pay.
