Yes. Last year '15 between August and October. I think there were around 40 total. That number is just a guess though.

Yes.

That is part of the problem that we have now. Since we are not growing anymore, we have FO's that are stagnant because the company hired so many DEC's.

FO upgrade time is now more than 2.5 years, but there are a ton of captains junior to the vast majority of FOs.

So, we have FO's that can't upgrade and CA's that will be on reserve for 5+ years.

That will cause FO's to go elsewhere where they can upgrade, and CA's to go elsewhere so they can get off of reserve in the next decade. PSA management really screwed up.

And as far as cost of living, Charlotte/Mecklenburg County and North Carolina in general are more expensive than a lot of places to live. Taxes on all sorts of absurd things. Compared to places like Florida and Texas, where a number of pilots / young flight instructors live, it is much more and your dollar doesn't go as far. There's a reason I stay living in Florida. Could I afford NC? Yea, sure. Is my QOL better in FL? Sure is.
Hence why in an earlier post I mentioned the option of living in SC...

Must be making stuff up. There has been no announcement that hats are required. Hell even at AA hats are optional.

That's assuming hats and uniforms will be delivered before Sept. 20th.

Haha I was going to say the same thing. Well once the company agrees to follow the contract I will consider wearing mine. If they don't like it they can grieve it.
