I know they don't. But in the past posts on this thread, the new hire classes were highly observed by line pilots.
After all, PSA is claiming on their APC profile -
"Hiring 40-50 per month. Classes of 20-25 every two weeks.
We are hiring 1000 first officers in the next 24 months."
And the last update was 12 and 1 Dispatcher.
So, what's the deal?

No one is coming to PSA. That is the deal.

Yeah line pilots posted the class sizes because they got them off the PSA Facebook page that no longer post the class sizes because they are small. So there you go. It was a small class. Give it a week and we will know when we check the seniority list.

I am only looking for the number of new hires who attended the last class.
It appears I am not the only one looking for such information.
No one is coming to PSA. That is the deal.

Thanks for your reply JD. I look forward to the stats.
Although I will be honest, trying to attract PSA new hires with a 5,000 bonus going to employee referrals atop the PSA FB page seems a bit counter intuitive, given the many photos taken of new hire classes in the past.
For example, if I were to contact any of you for a referral and split it with you, what would I say if a recruiter asked me how I know you? And if I told the recruiter I met you online, but never flown with you.... is that acceptable?
It seems to me, in all honesty, the 5,000 referral bonus is whoring out your pilot group.

Not sure as I haven't done it. You can just say you met them on tinder or FSX. That should work.........
I think the $5000 bonus is for pilots to do their own recruitment. They know this would happen, they just need people in the door. If you aren't a good candidate then you won't get the job. A referral won't make a big deal in my opinion.

- Critical pay
- Reserve grid manipulation
- Commuter hotels to be paid for "immediately" back in May
- Advertising new-hire flows at six years, when 12 is likely a best case scenario given current numbers
- Reliance on extending lineholders to avoid junior manning
- Offering retention bonuses only to a portion of the pilot group
- One year to even acknowledge a problem with SAP, and another 7 months to initiate a marginally-effective solution
- being serious about growing the airline to they level they've said they would
The problem is management operates with the mentality of "morality is subordinate to expense reduction." Because integrity is a short-term obstacle in achieving the goals of management, they have a belief that everyone working for PSA lacks integrity.
Thus the need to advertise $5k referral bonuses to try to get employees to coerce friends to come to PSA.
Fixing problems would likely be more effective in motivating employees to recruit, but management has apparently calculated that would cost more than $5k per new pilot. So here we are, advertising a bribe on Facebook to try to get employees to tell people PSA is the place to be.

Prospective new hires do. And according to past post on this very thread, many line pilots do as well.
Either way, there are quite a few interested to know how many showed up for the last new hire class. Please keep us posted JD?

Why are you interested? You just said you would never get on a CRJ900.
