I'm interested to know this as well. The PSA FB page doesn't seem to have any updates on the latest new hires. Or perhaps I missed it.... ?

People here clearly have no idea how negotiations work. Why post bullet points when a deal isn't done yet? Say they did; the company trolls on here would guage our response, taking away our bargaining power.

I am just wondering if we are even meeting. The last that we heard is that the company was supposed to meet with us in June, but the MEC pushed it back to July because our Negotiating Committee hadn't received their training yet. Then, when it came time for the July meeting, the company cancelled it and are now refusing to meet.

Is that still the case? If the company is refusing to meet, is there really anything that is secret?

Ok man, because negotiations and what happens therein have no bearing on your life at all.......We don't even know if they even met of not. Yes, I want to know this information.

The NC was trained and ready to Negotiate as of the 2nd week of June.

I think regardless of any face to face meeting between the NC and the company, there is an ongoing daily dialog between the company and the union, specifically TR. We've already seen changes (the SAP) that had nothing to do with the NC.

On the flipside, we've seen other changes, the new ACARS sections of the FOM for example, that ALPA has been trying to address, and the company just keep errecting their middle finger.

It'd be nice to know if and how far we have Union backing when we give the finger back.

Is there any reason why all the regular PSA pilots who post here, do not want to answer this question?

http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/2172247-post3609.html

Instead, potential new hires are greeted with this as the latest on the PSA FB page....

I don't get it...

Again, maybe I missed it?

Can someone please tell us how many new hires were in the last class?

I'm not sure why you think that line pilots magically know how many people show up to class? Do you think the company emails us or something?

I know they don't. But in the past posts on this thread, the new hire classes were highly observed by line pilots.

After all, PSA is claiming on their APC profile -

"Hiring 40-50 per month. Classes of 20-25 every two weeks.
We are hiring 1000 first officers in the next 24 months."

And the last update was 12 and 1 Dispatcher.

So, what's the deal?
