It's funny, IMV, how bitter, entitled,and poor planners complain.
And is hilarious!!!,how others are in the know a of situation just by what they read from a bunch of generic CEO's and pilots....

i got an email from them today inviting me to interview at clt. But i only have 1200hrs 22yrs old and no aviation college. i was a FO and cape air for awhile so have quite a bit multi time. whats you take on this and you think their going to say you got the job once you get 1500hrs or are they actually hiring like that?

I was hired at 1200 tt. Just sent them an email when I had my time and got a class date ASAP.

Can you even log that time? You are a non essential crew member. When your not touching the controls your sic but since the plane dosent require 2 pilots..... no logging is permitted. You can not act as PIC since you don't have an ATP. So.... ferry flights?

All AAG needs in order to fix there regionals staffing issues, (for a while, at least) is 3 staples. That's it! They won't need massive pay increases, or more temporary bonuses, or flow increases. No carrots required. Just staple all three wholey-owners to the bottom of AA and Dougie and the boys will have more applicants than they can hire,..... for a while. And the costs will be minimal.

If the company requires two crew members, regardless, he can log the time.
