I'm considering PSA at this time and I have a few question.
1. How hard is it to get Knoxville out of training?
2. Do all new hires get the 20k retention plus the 15k sign on?
3. Is it possible to make 45k first year. (not including bonus')?

I also understand I will be on reserve for the first part and I don't mind if it only last for less than 6 months.

You would struggle on first year pay to make $45k without the bonus at the highest paid regionals. The wholly owned regionals happen to fall into the lowest paid category.

1. Not hard.
2. 15K only.
3. No.

Most junior lineholders in TYS are about a year on property. Short call is one hour, but no hot reserve.

PM if you have any more questions or want a referral.

Some of you are in for a rude awakening if you are *****ing about staying on reserve for only six months. What are you going to do when you don't upgrade for 2 to 3 years, and not hired at a major for another 5 to 8 years, and when you get to the major you are stuck on reserve for a few years?

PSA now paying current pilots $5k for each pilot they refer to PSA. Rather than make the place worth being proud of and telling friends about, they'd rather bribe people to lie.

Fix the SAP. Quit cheating people out of critical pay. Get payroll done correctly. Quit expecting pilots to have to submit claims any time they do any extra flying. Quit building such bad schedules. Put a printer in CVG. Any/all of these things would go a long way to improve crewmember recruiting efforts.

Instead lets just pay people to lie about PSA.

Well my friend if you read any of the last few pages, I think you will agree that there are plenty of us here at PSA that are telling the cold hard truth about life at PSA. If a new hire won't read last two pages to research an airline, then honestly they deserve whatever they get. Lol

Anyone want a recommendation? It's all unicorns and rainbows at PSA!!!!!!

This is something we do because it's negotiated language in our contract. The company is not requiring us to do this on our own. We are unionized labor, it's all about seniority and the contract for us and for management.

Understood. It's still idiotic that a pilot has to spend their time off doing accounting/payroll work for the company. It's a big reason I have never picked up any extra flying.
