5-6k is more realistic, however, you should NOT include per diem in your earnings. That is money to cover expenses. Let's look at the real wages here which are a joke

This is the heart of the matter. Management's integrity is effectively zero. Rather than investing some resources to address real issues they've created (SAP processing times, Critical Pay/Reserve Grid manipulation/Payroll Errors), they'd rather incentivize the pilot group to act unethically as well by paying everyone who has a weak moral compass to sell PSA to friends.

It reminds me of how door to door vacuum salesmen operate.

Pretty baller though that you apparently have yoke clips for your EFBs.
I thought the Captain was holding it up as if saying "would you like one of these"? How very sad.
It reminds me of the old USMC recruiters in the poorest area of the country who could kick their shinny Corfram dress shoes up on the desk and ask, son- would you like to own pair of shoes like this?

I have a kinda unrelated question. Despite all of the reasons to not come to PSA that you guys have been talking about, is it possible/likely to get CLT right out of training or will you most likely get one of the other bases? I know most people get TYS. Thanks.

Last year, you could get CLT right out of training, and would have been a line holder within 2-3 months.

Now, you will get an Ohio base out of training. The most junior CLT FO was an October 2015 hire. I would estimate that you would get CLT about 6 months after being hired if everything stays the same as it is right now.

Attrition seems to be picking up, so who knows what will happen in the next few months.

The most junior CLT FO is a guy from my class. March 28th and he's still on IOE. Awarded CLT almost two weeks ago.

Realistically, you'll have either a Cincinnati or Dayton base for about 1 year,..... and you'll be on reserve the entire time. Then, right about the time you're able to hold a round two line, you'll be senior enough to change your base to Charlotte,...... where you'll again be back on reserve for the better part of another year.

We're hiring about 7 pilots a month and losing about 15 pilots a month. In my opinion, movement will be slow for the foreseeable future.

Another one of the guys in my class, March 28th, got TYS as his first choice a couple of weeks ago. He's also still on IOE.
