I think BNA would be a good fit. Why do you ask? Well the city has much potential. It has major sports leagues, a growing population, not much deicing in the winter, The area is very affordable to live in, and most of all it would benefit me. BNA was an American hub back in the day so why not PSA. The Nashville area is also polluted with many pilots and it has a top aviation university in the area that would go well with recruiting. I'm truly considering rolling the dice on this one. Even if BNA isn't in the running I can make that 2 hour drive to TYS. For me it beats commuting back and fourth from DFW or ORD for 6-7 years just for an upgrade. In the next few weeks my life will be changing instantly based on my decision.

Cvg is a maintance base, it has value and the market is growing with Delta closing the crew base this fall. If anything Tys will be the first base to go. That would delay everyone's flow timeline though because I'm sure a lot of those senior Tys guys would rather flow to American if they're going to have to commute to Clt anyways.

That said, as anyone who is senior in TYS will tell you, people have been predicting the demise of TYS ever since it opened.
Believe it when you see it.

I predict a lot of SAP to 65-75 and them riding it out.

I don't expect tys to close or any base for that matter anytime soon. I was just saying it holds the least value to the company so it would make the most sense. Management has said any airport that has the capacity to park 5 aircraft overnight on our route map and has available space for a crew room can easily become a crew base as far as financially and logistically. I see the company being more inclined to open more bases to get guys to come for QOL reasons as an alternative to raising pay.

In all fairness, I have also met a few in TYS that will sit through hell and high water until their flow date.
Hopefully they never face Force Majeure.
