It is all rumor right now.

From a former MEC chairman (that says he knows what is going on), the arbitrator ruled in the pilots favor moving forward, but there is no backpay. I was told that the company isn't happy with it, and the pilots won't be happy with it either. The company said that there is no way that they can or will pay that much and follow the contract. They are working on a settlement.

I have heard everything from flow of 12 a month, to 200% for everything greater than 83 hours a month, to min day credit of 4.75 with no cutouts, to the current bonuses becoming permanent pay rate raises.

Again, I have no idea if there is any truth to this at all. It is all rumors.

Hopefully we will find out soon.

Wouldn't that be nice.

Has there been any update about the additional 35 CRJ-700s from Envoy? All I've heard is that Envoy would hold on to them longer.

According to our president, transfers will start as soon as we are able to fill classes and get more pilots on the line - most likely 1st quarter.

I would guess mid February to March-ish. Classes are pretty full. As long as they stay that way, they will be coming soon. The hope is, though, that we get more 900's before taking the 700's. Give the Envoy guys enough time to get more 175's on property so they are set.

According to Dion and AAG, the 700s will continue being transferred in spring 2017. And I've heard March/April as a likely timeframe and they will transfer as many /month as we can take. There are also 12 options left for CRJ900s and those have yet to be announced for anyone. I've heard it speculated that those will come with a new hub base announcement here at PSA. Not sure when however.

And as far as our critical pay arbitration is concerned, I was told by someone in our union that a preliminary decision was released by the arbitrator, and that it is very specific about the companies violation of our current contract language. That is all I know. I was also told that this particular arbitrator wasn't very savvy when it comes to airline contracts and that this might. It bode well overall for the pilot group when it comes to their final decision. So we'"" see what happens.

What is the latest on rumors of PSA opening a DCA base? I read back a few pages and didn't see any updates.

So basically at 1350/5 it's not 22.5 years to flow to AA because there will be other attrition. I'll say then it's about 18-19 years. Got it.

The flow is going to increase in 2017. Do I think it should be 10+ /month? Yea that would be nice. But we are also still expanding more rapidly than the other WOs and we have a lot more aircraft to take on still. And personally, I would rather see higher pay and contractual improvements before flow increases. How about a min day and a trip/duty rig? That would take care of the inefficient trips some of us get.
