PSA's benefits are the same as mainline AA's benefits. I personally think that they are great.

What about the health insurance premiums, say for an employee + wife + dependents? How much is that running? And how are the benefits?

There are 2 plans. One has low monthly payments, but the deductibles are higher. The other has higher monthly payments, but you pay less if you use it often.

As far as the cost, it depends on your family size. I think for just me, as a single, I pay something like $62 a month including vision and dental.

When do AA flight benefits begin? For example, could a spouse fly AA to Dayton for a weekend during the 5 weeks of INDOC/Systems?

We had several people in my class do that. I think it is about 2 weeks before you get full benefits.

Yea, I think it was 2 weeks. Its 6 months before you get the ZED fares, but you get all you want on AA after 2 weeks.

The cost-effective plan is 324/mo for family, and that includes dental.

Cool, thanks. Do you know what the deductibles are for that plan?

A friend asked me to pass this on.

If anyone is interested in PSA and wants to get a class date quickly, we are evidently holding on site interviews next week in DCA. Jan 9, 10, 11th.

This is perfect for current 121 pilots.

We will have recruiters and management on hand to answer any questions. I think the interviews are on a first come, first serve basis (if you bring your logbooks and all other necessary paperwork), but if you email [email protected] they can schedule an interview time for you so you are guaranteed a time to talk that works for you.
