The company has stopped updating the seniority list on a daily/weekly basis (on the AA flow page). I guess that the company thought that they were giving us too much information. The guys in the training department told me that the Feb 15th class had 2 in it.
Attrition is really starting to pick up from talking to people on the line. The majority of new hires in the past 2 years had many years at other carriers, and are in a good position to get hired elsewhere. It won't be long until all of the pilots that we were able to attract in the last 2 years will all be gone to LCC's and majors.

The Feb 15 class consisted of 5 pilots and 1 dispatcher.
The Feb 1st class is (at last check), was down to 3 pilots (after one accepted a better job during indoc and one left to attend to a family emergency).
The January 18th class also has 3 left, (although I don't recall how many started out in that class).
Now the January 4th class seems relatively robust. According to the latest seniority list, there are 13 pilots still on property with that start date.
So all told, that's 24 pilots successfully hired in 2016. PSA only needs to hire 976 pilots before Dec 31, 2017 in order to meet their goal of "hiring 1000 pilots in the next two years".
Clearly, the bloom is off the rose.
