The stagnation is real.

Beautiful day indeed. Just finished a reserve assignment, can't believe they didn't have anything else to put on me. Released until tomorrow. Is it too early for a beer on the patio?

I think the guy doing the notifying got confused (of course I wasn't listed in my oversold deadhead either).

It is a beautiful day...seriously.

We will start losing all of those prior 121 guys that came in and upgraded in the last year. Now that the movement has stopped, all of the upgrades will be FOs that are senior to them and the prior 121 captains will be stuck on reserve forever.

With almost a decade in the regionals and now a year or two with PIC time, they will bail for the first LCC that calls just to get out of here. Reserve sucks.

Just out of curiosity are they still pulling the "you are the only FO/CA we have left" when you try to get released on the last day of rsv? Or even better the being extended into a jrm?

Exactly.

The company will never go out of its way to help you. So don't go out of your way to help them.

That is interesting.

They have it in my flica for tomorrow and that was the excuse for the "notification error"

Also another Clt fo being repositioned here yesterday was given hot too.

Read your contract. Every pilot at every airline needs to READ YOUR CONTRACT. This needs to be a thread stickied to the top.

Not knowing the contract will get you burned time and again in this profession.
