Got it from a VP last year, said the leases were renegotiated at very low rates with the first one expiring in 2019.

The system is good if everyone participates. Do your part and help educate pilots that don't know. It only benefits you and the entire pilot group when others become more educated. All the fastreads include the phone number.

Personally, I'm more inclined to believe SEC filings over what someone in management says.

I get that and I do. A lot of people here don't bother checking any work email and have it deleted as spam.

Do you have a link to that SEC filing?

A few jr man calls happen at every airline even properly staffed ones. We will be understaffed come summer just like every other airline always is every year.
The numbers tell me we are barely staffed if not understaffed, not opinion. We have staffing for 113 aircraft if we use every single pilot on the roster. Those pilots are not 100% useable and our list is shrinking every month. We have ~100 A/C with more coming every month. Sorry but every airline is not under staffed every summer.

But I guess I'll defer to your obvious scheduling expertise......oh wait, you only implied with the passive aggressive question.

They did over hire DECs. There were DECs in the last 2-3 classes that didn't receive base assignments until they were in OE because there were qualified FOs senior to them. That's why they had to drop that massive bid, in order to reach the seniority of the DECs they had already trained, but didn't have slots for.

The other reason for the DECs was to get as many captains in the snap shot as possible before the flow agreement.
So now they are slightly over staffed on captains, and can still upgrade another 20 or so before they have to increase the flow.

I am a very junior captain and I haven't received a Jr man call yet, but I have noticed that some captains are still picking up the open time and doing the companies work for them.

SAP 75, No open time, No Junior Man.

So it should be pretty easy for you to find the SEC filing that supports your claim and not expect anyone else to sort through all of them.

Pretty sure all of my trips have been dumped into open time the last two months. Not sure if anyone has received a jm call for them or not.
