The system is good if everyone participates. Do your part and help educate pilots that don't know. It only benefits you and the entire pilot group when others become more educated. All the fastreads include the phone number.

I get that and I do. A lot of people here don't bother checking any work email and have it deleted as spam.

And your expert opinion on crew planning is the metric we should use? How much airline or union scheduling experience do you have? Our performance numbers have been pretty good, until we are canceling for lack of crews and not meeting our CCF goals we are not understaffed. A few jr man calls happen at every airline even properly staffed ones. We will be understaffed come summer just like every other airline always is every year.
But I guess I'll defer to your obvious scheduling expertise......oh wait, you only implied with the passive aggressive question.

The other reason for the DECs was to get as many captains in the snap shot as possible before the flow agreement.
So now they are slightly over staffed on captains, and can still upgrade another 20 or so before they have to increase the flow.
I am a very junior captain and I haven't received a Jr man call yet, but I have noticed that some captains are still picking up the open time and doing the companies work for them.
SAP 75, No open time, No Junior Man.
