I agree I want qol issues and pay increased but we all know none of that is happening any earlier then June when they are supposed to start talks again about flow increase. Talks will drag on for a few months and then we will be offered a below average but better then we have improvement on our contract and our pay. We will park 200s thank goodness but get more 900s which is dandy. In the mean time I want to stop lugging around a 40lbs flight case.

Why not? You and your envoy friends would do a same thing. You guys need to stop being obsessed with yourselves. When it comes to jobs and money there is no friends.

Looks like feb 2015 new hires are holding round 1 or 2 lines. But there aren't a lot of people behind those. I think the seniority number ranges around 900 and we have 1200 on property??
Probably wouldn't get Clt out of training.

It depends on:
- New Base. If it is a good, commutable base, some of the senior CLT people may move there to make their lives better. ORD would be a good example.
- Ability to hire. If we can start hiring 25 FO's every 2 weeks, then reserve time will remain low and you would be able to get CLT quickly. If we can not hire more than what we are currently hiring, reserve time may last for years for those unfortunate enough to come to PSA now.
- Pay/Benefits. If we can not hire, the company is going to need to do something attract new hires. Pay will have to be raised, and other QOL improvements will have to be made.
Right now, I would not come to PSA. Even if I were getting $1000 for a referral for talking to you, I would advise you not to come here. We have some good things, but the negatives outweigh the positives right now for a new hire.

You see all of the "quick upgrade" stuff around. Are you saying that's really not the case now due to their inability to recruit. There seems to be a lot of new metal coming on property, someone is going to have to drive them.

The thought is that we will park 200's and fly the 700's and 900's with the pilots that we have.
The key in an airline is to have as many people behind you as possible. If PSA can not hire, then there will not be any pilots behind you. To get off of reserve, you need a couple of hundred pilots hired behind you. Right now, we not be able to hire 200 pilots in the next 2 years.
